the bikini zone cream works good. also, go for laser removal. it works the best but is pricy and a little painful

should looks be top of list or should personality?
Posted: 1/24/2006 9:32:04 AM
why is it more shallow to pick someone because of their looks than it is to pick someone because they are funny, smart blah blah blah

shouldn't BOTH matter? or do just ugly people say they don't?

You complete me
Posted: 1/23/2006 11:33:19 AM
according to both definitions i both need my loved ones and i am not complete without them.

they DO make up a big part of who i am. even if it's something as small as picking up on a favorite catch phrase of their's

they are essential and very important parts of my life. they are very definitely necessary.

if my boyfriend left me, if my friends abandoned me, if my family disowned me, i'd survive it but i wouldn't be the me i am right now

i hardly think it's admirable or desirable to be a cold fishie. why would i want to be involved with someone who could take me or leave me?

it's not easy to trust people that much and sometimes it ends in disaster but i'll never ever ever stop needing people.

needing people is not a bad thing. actually the people who claim not to need someone are lying or very sad

i need my friends

i need my family

i need my boyfriend

i don't feel bad about it at all. i like who i am, i do cool things i'm starting a brand spanking new awesome job next month and i can take care of myself. but i wouldn't be happy or complete without other human interaction

The Anti-Valentine's Day Party
Posted: 1/20/2006 10:33:22 AM

Just to put a damper on everyone’s spirit, do any of you know the true story of the three St. Valentines? You know, the Roman Catholic priests for whom the feast day is recognized? I find it amazing that marketing idiots have somehow managed to drag these three men of God who were brutally martyred for their faith into this holiday that is completely baseless and useless. Jesus, Kwanza is a more legitimate holiday.

pish posh.

and it's not a holiday yet. but if i had a little money and power it would be.

it's a looooooooooooong stretch between MLK day and memorial day. too long

Ever get so sick of hearing people yapping on their cell phones ya just wanna....?
Posted: 1/20/2006 6:32:53 AM
i actually accepted a job offer in my car on my cell phone

just wanted to mention that

and double cabin, i do appreciate your frustration. cell phones aren't one of my peeves but i do get over the top pissed at chronic blinker failure which is dangerous on top of annoying. so i really just don't get actually taking some stranger's phone and hanging it up. that's really assault, you are aware of that, right?

also, i'd be worried they'd turn around and jam a sharp object in my neck. not only are there rude people but there are crazy people.

another thing is a lot of people, like me, only have a cell phone. i don't have a home phone for economic reasons. so don't get uptight, don't worry, practice chanting and be the better person

what are they teaching people in sunday school these days?

if you abstain from the physical aspects of love until you get married how can you be sure you'd even be able to do it after you get married.

i get a little disappointed when my boyfriend has weekend plans that don't include me, that's natural.

doesn't mean he's cheating. just has stuff to do.

tell your sis to watch lifetime movies, hang out with her girlfriends she may have been neglecting or go shopping. next weekend will be back to normal

But having faced death I don't put up with much b*u*L*l*s*h*i*t. If you're on my train, bus, etc., and you're self absorbed superfluous chatter is bouncing from one side of the car to the other ad nausem in a nasaly ingratiating and unpleasant brouge, you will be sufficently motivated to put the chatterbox away until you or I have left the train.

are you saying you threaten people on cell phones?? relax. channel your inner buddah. it's not that serious, it's a phone call. what's the diff between a cell phone call and people having face to face conversations?

also, be very careful, you may threaten the wrong person some day.

Get over it!! You have to allow people to indulge in a bit of hyperbole, particularly in this case. 99.9% of people are sick of inconsiderate jeks "sharing" their private conversations with everyone within earshot, as well as endangering the lives of others by driving while talking on their phones. The incident with the baby was way overboard; totally unrelated and didn't belong in this thread.

like wc said. they aren't cartoon characters, they are people. you should spank your inner moppet and join the world of adulthood.

the story i used was not overboard. abuse is abuse is abuse is abuse. cause the baby didn't have a cell phone doesn't mean it's life is any more precious

that was a nice post.

i agree, it can be annoying. but so can people who refuse to use their blinkers, play car stereos too loud, don't understand the off before on concept regarding elevators and people who bring more than ten items in the express lane

but they don't deserve to die

Sex problems
Posted: 1/19/2006 7:34:58 AM
try to relax. try to be confident about your body. don't be afraid to try it with the lights on! i had this problem for a long time too. sometimes it was actually painful. go slow, with someone you trust and try different positions, you'll find the right ones.

the big thing is just try to relax. orgasms are largely mental with women

good luck!

or, just read dark prince's post over and over! :)

do you suppose she'd call me a lesbian because most of my friends are female?

i'm hoping this old woman doesn't still have her driver's license
