Why does every girl I talk to close their account?
Posted: 9/9/2009 7:52:50 PM
You should start sending a message to every girl on here who is looking for a mate. May be you are their good luck charm to find one. Hopefully they will thank you before they close their account.
Hopefully for one of them, you would be a good fit for a mate and click.

Do you get offended when someone says Merry Christmas?
Posted: 12/30/2008 6:02:21 PM

Buddy poke-- yes, for Christians, the situation in Nepal has been improving for them since the 1960's; however, the situation is shakey. What about the Maoists? BUT the point of the post was that the country is primarily Hindu and not Christian, therefore one should not expect to see Christmas as a major holiday. I'll admit I am not an expert in Nepalese culture, but I'm quite certain that saying "Merry Christmas" is a rare event.

Since you admit you are not an expert on Nepal, how can you be so certain that "Merry Christmas" is a rare event? Have you visited Nepal, during Christmas time?
Is it rare because the state prohibits it? Or is it rare because there are so few Christians who live there?

THE POINT... is that one should NOT go to Nepal and be offended by the Hindu and their culture or beliefs. And likewise, why should someone come to our country and be offended by OUR culture? We should be allowed our culture and our beliefs and we should not have to be afraid to express ourselves on our own home soil--freedom of religion and freedom of speech. We need to be more tolerant of each other and we should expect those that come to our country to live or to visit to be tolerant as well.

The fore-fathers of the USA made the "freedom of speech and freedom of religion" as part of the first amendment to the constitution for everyone in the USA; not to just make it a right of the Christians. One of the reasons they made it a constitutional right is because they came from lands where they did not enjoy it. Those freedoms are just couple of reasons of what makes the USA such a great country.

It is an equal right to everyone in the US. It does not mean that "you" can force your religious beliefs or your thoughts on others just because you have "freedom of speech and freedom of religion".

I hope you had a Happy Christmas.

Is your Doctor Safe?
Posted: 12/21/2008 11:37:51 AM

Anyone who completely trusts a doctor, unquestioningly, is an idiot. They are out to make money to pay off their school debts, 4th car and 6th wife, just like the lawyers, and are always going to be beholding to those drug companies.

Pick a female doctor.
Alteast that would remove the risk of the 6th wife effect. And cars to some extent.

washing up BEFORE sex
Posted: 12/20/2008 10:57:50 PM
As long as my partner is not dirty, its well and good.
One should shower/bathe to get rid of the dirt and feel fresh; it should not be a precursor to sex. Then it would become more like a chore.

But hey... a woman fresh out of a shower is always good for some loving
The warmth of a woman's body right out of a shower is wonderful to feel and love.

Do you get offended when someone says Merry Christmas?
Posted: 12/20/2008 10:46:38 PM

Well, in some countries they are Muslim or Hindu by majority and hence no Christmas. I personally believe that when you live in a country you should attempt to understand their culture and avoid being offended by their beliefs as much as possible. Although I do not believe in the above mentioned religions, if someone else does, I am not offended that they wish to talk about their religion or worship as it indicates. More so in their country I would most definately NOT be offended if approached by someone talking about their religion and would try to respect it as much as possible (however, I may draw the line at cutting people's hands off for robbery, stoning for adultery or genital mutilation merely because...) This being said... I am offended that people cannot take the greetings in this country in stride, understanding that it comes from a Christian majority. It is not meant to be anything other than a nice thing to say and is not trying to push anyone towards Christianity or anything else. I mostly get offended by the lack of tolerance in those who ask us to be tolerant of them.

I hope the news spewed by the sensational media is not your only window through which you see the world.
There are only three countries in the world where Hindus are a majority - India, Nepal and Mauritius. Of those three, only Nepal is a Hindu state. But there are Christians who live in Nepal; and they visit Nepal for holidays. And Christmas is celebrated there.
India and Mauritius are secular states i.e. people living in those countries have the freedom to practice any religion/faith. There are a fair number of Christians in those two countries. And Christmas is an official national holiday in both those countries.

I totally agree with you regarding assimilation i.e. "When in Rome..."

Fear of Date Rape.....
Posted: 12/20/2008 9:55:45 PM
I don't understand what some people mean when they said "live a little".
Does it mean humping is the only way to live??

oh well...
Coming to the OP's dilemma:
As some others have pointed out, going out on a few dates with him should give you a comfort level. Another thing that could dispel your doubts is to meet his friends. That would tell you a bit about him. He might act all different to impress you when it is just the two of you out on a date. But his true self is more apt to come out when he is amongst his friends.

You shoud only go if you have no doubt at all; and when you feel comfortable. If you had to ask that question, I would say you are not there yet.

Happy fishing.

what is the best complement you have ever recived.
Posted: 12/20/2008 9:19:19 PM
After working on a new project with someone for a year and became good friends in the process, he once said to me: "I hope my son grows up to be like you."
He was referring to my manners, my happyness, how I dealt with others respectfully and how I approached work and solved problems.

I feel that is the biggest compliment I received outside of my parents, teachers and childhood friends saying good things about me.

Do you get offended when someone says Merry Christmas?
Posted: 12/20/2008 9:01:48 PM
I am a Hindu. But I love Christmas. It is a happy time and it shows in people. I love to be part of anything that spreads happiness.
So no - I am not offended when someone says merry Christmas to me. I greet them back the same.

But I am offended when someone asks if I am offended by that greeting. If someone asks that question, to me it means that they themself do not believe in Christmas with their whole heart.

I finally figured it out
Posted: 12/20/2008 12:51:57 PM
Join a toastmasters club or some hobby group or volunteer work. Gives you a reason to get out and not be lonely at home. It will give you something to do and you will improve yourself in the process.
Try not to change your lifestyle only to impress someone else. Do it for yourself first.

also... Ask yourself this hypothetical question: Would you say yes to any woman who approaches you and proposes to you?
I hope the answer to that is a resounding "no". You need to understand that everyone has the right to be selective. If you beat down yourself and sulk, you tend to become more "un-selective" for women. They want someone who is confidant and strong. They want to have kids with a good man.
You look to be a handsome guy. And you alse seem to be a good guy. All it seems lacking is self-confidance.

Meet Married Women ads?
Posted: 12/20/2008 12:36:56 PM
So why would anyone decry marriage and love just because someone else acts a certain way?
The way I see it, there are so many wonderful couples around, they have beautiful kids and families, I think love and marriage are beautiful.

I had a very sad encounter today.. what is happening in the US?
Posted: 12/20/2008 12:12:05 PM
It is sad that lot of people blame others when they are hit with bad times. That is the easiest thing to do than own up to their own actions. Now do not tell me this mess was created by only people who bought homes that they could not afford. Its not just them; but every one of us who were not responsible with our finances. Everyone one of us who spent more than we make just because someoen was willing to loan us money; and only require us to make small payments each month.
It seems like "a rainy day fund" is a lost concept to the current generation.

Another sad fact is that there are plenty of families who take a dog/cat as a pet; spend money on their pets to give them their best. But they have their parents in a elder home.

I hate it when men do this during lovemaking
Posted: 12/20/2008 7:33:49 AM
1. Change your locale where you are looking for your mate. "birds of the same feather flock together"

2. Do not give up so easy. If you invested enough time to know them before jumping in bed, you should probably spend some time intimately to know them better sexually. Do not kick him out after the first sleepover.

3. How is your attitude during sex? Is it bad/selfish that the man wants to get it over with and leave??

When to allow dad to take daughter alone
Posted: 11/29/2008 7:12:42 AM
If he is visting for an hour or 2 hours a week only, I am presuming that he tries to hold your child as soon as he arrives. And at the end of the 1 or 2 hour session, hands over the baby to you and leaves?
That means the child is "snatched" away from its comfort zone for a couple of hours. And then put back there after the visit.
If this is his first kid, he is probably not comfortable holding such a small baby. I have seen fathers not be comfortable as they think that they might be hurting the baby; as a result hold them gingerly and not snugly. The child usually can sense it.

Small children tend to associate with people whom they see near them. So unless you and your ex talk out the details how he can spend more time with your child, I am afraid that it will be a long time before your child will start being non-fussy with the dad.

I have seen cases when the grand parents went thru bonding issues with their grand kids. When they visited for a few weeks, their grand child was aloof and stayed away from them for the first few days; and she would cry if they tried to hold her. But after that, when the child saw them close by for so long, she got used to them and became playful and comfortable with them. When the grand parents went away for a month, and then came back to see the child, it was like starting all over again - child would become fussy and not go to them.

obama wins, what do you think
Posted: 11/9/2008 8:22:32 PM
Obama is not only a good speaker, but he is also a good listener. He listens and understands what others are saying before he responds to them.
And he is a huge asset for the US in the present time to mend its international image.

It is a fact that people in the US have gotten past the race thing. It is wonderful that the citizens of the US voted in a young black man - as long he won the race because he was the best candidate.

Unfortunately there is still a lot of racial undercurrents that keep surfacing in the US. Most commonly involving older people. And it was openly admitted by them as the only reason they were not voting for Obama. It will take atleast another generation before race could truly become a non-issue.

Can men deal with NOT getting blowjobs?
Posted: 11/9/2008 12:10:52 PM
If she likes to give too(not doing just for me), then well and good: I love to see a woman's enthusiastic attention to my fella.
If not, then not getting it would never be a deal breaker.

Porn/sex chat sites addiction
Posted: 11/9/2008 10:00:10 AM
How certain are you that he posted the ad? Are you just going by the description of the woman in the ad or were you actually able to login to that site as his ID or into his email and validate that he posted that ad?

You would be surprised to find that there are other people who when described, could fit our own description very well.

The bigger issue here is that there seems to be no trust and respect.
If that is the case, even if you confront him with the ad, the first thing he would do is deny. And after that he would be more careful in the future to cover his tracks when he goes searching on the web.

Solution? Walk away.
Do not let fear of temporary financial obligations ruin your life. It might mean that you would have to work a bit longer/harder to get your financial situation under control, but it would be worth the effort. Will only make you a stronger person.

Why Can't he cum
Posted: 11/9/2008 9:40:15 AM
If he is happy screwing you to Os and you are happy finishing him off with BJ/HJ, just enjoy the good times. Unless you are trying to get pregnant?????

Anyways.. here goes:
Has he tried giving up pot?
Has he tried abstaining from masturbation and getting sex/BJ/HJ from you for a few days?
Have you tried different angles/positions that would give him different feelings of your vagina on his penis?
Does he even want to experience it? Or he has given it up in his mind?

Human mind is very sexual and can control how the rest of our bodies behave. So mentally if he does not even want to achieve it, then it will be difficult for his "engine" to pump it out while having sex.

Even after all that, if he is still not able to cum, talk to him to see if he had any traumatic incidents in his life? It may be difficult to pinpoint to an incident, but there might be something in his early childhood. Something that might sound trivial now, but would have been significant enough at that time to have a psychological effect.

eg(not sex related; but still..): I am afraid of dogs. I can appreciate them from a far, but I am scared of them being close to me. I had this fear imbibed in me since I was attacked by a big dog when I was a small child. It did not bite me or anything; it just chased me down; after a small chase, when I was on the stairs not running anymore, it just growled at me while being close to me. It may not seem like a big deal, but I still remember it and I am afraid of them.

OP: Be strong. Do not do it.
Posted: 11/9/2008 8:21:40 AM
If you think it is bad, just do not do it. Be strong. Do not do it.
But, what you should not be doing is to just blindly follow what someone says to you.

What you heard from the priest/parish you went to, its just their interpretation of the bible.
The bible itself evolves with time and changes itself depending on who is printing it. And what times they live in, what their surroundings are.
Unfortunately, lot of times, they try to influence your mind to get their way with you.
